Who is eligible to Claim?
Who Can Claim HRD Corp Training?
You can claim HRD Corp training if your company:
- Is registered with HRD Corp
- Actively contributes levy
- Has available levy balance or approved levy access
This typically includes:
- Private sector companies
- SMEs and large corporations
- Companies registered under the Companies Act 2016
- HRD Corp covered industries
Important:
Only the employer submits the HRD Corp claim. Employees do not claim individually.
Who Can Attend HRD Corp Claimable Training?
Eligible participants include:
- Malaysian employees
- Full-time staff of the claiming employer
- Executives, managers, supervisors, and operational employees
FAQ
Q1: Are your training courses 100% HRDF Claimable?
Yes, generally a company can claim up to 100% if the company is registered with HRD Corp and contributes to the HRD Levy, and has sufficient levy balance and no outstanding levy arrears.
Q2: Do you assist with HRD Corp Grant Application process?
No, we are unable to help apply with Grant Application as this requires the employer to apply via e-TRiS.
Q3: What happens if our grant application is pending when the training dates arrive?
We will have to reschedule and discuss the next following date. Training can only commence 14 calendar days after the grant is approved. The approved training must then start within 90 calendar days after the 14-day waiting period.
Q4: Can training be customized for our industry or conducted at our office premises?
Yes, all trainings are tailored to your industry needs, and for any training conducted outside of Klang Valley, there will be an extra travel allowance charge including flight / petrol / accommodation fee.
Q5: What is the maximum number of participant allowed for a training?
For SBL-Khas, a HRD Corp Rule, allows minimum of 2 participant and up to maximum of 50 participant for each group.
Q6: Are training materials and certification provided?
Yes, all training materials will be provided and a certification of attendance can be issued upon request.
